【摘要】:WARNING—TheuseofthisInternationalStandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operationsandequipment.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblemsassociatedwithitsuse.ItistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisInternationalStandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodofdeterminingtheshearstabilityofpolymer-containinglubricatingoils,includingpressurefluids,bythefour-balltesterasspecifiedinISO20623,butusingataperedrollerbearing.Thetestresultsallowpredictionofthein-servicepermanentviscosityloss.NOTEOtherInternationalStandardsexistwhichevaluateviscositylossofpolymer-containingoils.ThemethodspecifiedinthisInternationalStandardsubjectsfluidstoahighershearratethan,forexample,thedieselinjectornozzlesheartestinISO20844.Itisparticularlyappropriateforlubricantsbeingusedinhighshearapplications,suchascomponentswithgearsandrollerbearings.Insuchapplications,theshearrateintheISO20844testmethodcanbetoolowtogeneratearealisticpermanentshearofthefluid.
