【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversnonreinforcedconcretepipedesignedforspecifiedstrengthsandintendedtobeusedfortheconveyanceofsewage,industrialwastes,andstormwaterandfortheconstructionofculverts.1.2ThisspecificationisthemetriccounterpartofSpecificationC985.Note18212;Thisspecificationisamanufacturingandpurchasespecificationonlyanddoesnotincluderequirementsforbedding,backfill,ortherelationshipbetweenfieldloadconditionsandthedesignatedstrengthofthepipe.However,experiencehasshownthatthesuccessfulperformanceofthisproductdependsupontheproperselectionofthepipestrength,typeofbeddingandbackfill,andcarethattheinstallationconformstotheconstructionspecifications.Theowneroftheconcretepipespecifiedhereiniscautionedthathemustcorrelatethefieldrequirementswiththepipestrengthspecifiedandprovideinspectionattheconstructionsite.
