【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversprecipitation-hardeningstainlesssteelplate,sheet,andstrip.Themechanicalpropertiesofthesesteelsaredevelopedbysuitablelow-temperatureheattreatmentsgenerallyreferredtoasprecipitationhardening.1.2Thesesteelsareusedforpartsrequiringcorrosionresistanceandhighstrengthatroomtemperatureorattemperaturesupto600176;F(315176;C).Someofthesesteelsareparticularlysuitableformoderatetoseveredrawingandforminginthesolution-treatedcondition.Othersarecapableofmildformingonly.Theyaresuitableformachininginthesolution-annealedcondition,afterwhichtheymaybehardenedtothemechanicalpropertiesspecifiedinthisstandardwithoutdangerofcrackingordistortion.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.
