【摘要】:1Thispracticeaddressesthespecificrequirementsforlaboratoriesengagedindosimetrycalibrationsinvolvingion-izingradiation,namely,gamma-radiation,electronbeamsorX-radiation(bremsstrahlung)beams.Itspecificallydescribestherequirementsforthecharacterizationandperformancecriteriatobemetbyahigh-doseradiationdosimetrycalibra-tionlaboratory.2Theabsorbed-doserangeistypicallybetween10and10Gy.3Thispracticeaddressescriteriaforlaboratoriesseekingaccreditationforperforminghigh-dosedosimetrycalibrations,andisasupplementtothegeneralrequirementsdescribedinISO/IEC17025.3.1BymeetingthesecriteriaandthoseinISO/IEC17025,thelaboratorymaybeaccreditedbyarecognizedaccreditationorganization.3.2Adherencetothesecriteriawillhelptoensurehighstandardsofperformanceandinstillconfidenceregardingthecompetencyoftheaccreditedlaboratorywithrespecttotheservicesitoffers.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappro-priatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplica-bilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
