【摘要】:ThissectionalspecificationrelatestoIEC61156-1:Multicoreandsymmetricalpair/quadcablesfordigitalcommunications-Part1:Genericspecification.Thecablesdescribedhereinarespecificallyintendedtoconstructpatch,equipment,andworkareacordsforclassD,EaridFchannels,asdefinedinIEC11801:2000,Informationtechnology-Genericcablingforcustomerpremises(seeTable1).Itcoversindividuallyscreened(STP),commonscreened(FTP)andunscreened(UTP)pairsorquadshavingapaircountoffourpairsorless.Thetransmissioncharacteristicsofthecablesarespecifiedat20℃.SeeAnnexAofIEC61156-5foradiscussionofcableperformanceattemperatureshigherthan20℃.Thedesignation"Category5e"isusedhereintodescribeanenhancedCategory5cableandisusedinthesamecontextas"Category5"inISO/IEC11801.ThisenhancedcableisdesignatedCategory5etodifferentiateitfromtheCategory5cablesdescribedinIEC61156-2,61156-3,and61156-4.AlthoughbothCategory5and5ecablesarecharacterizedto100MHzandcaninusedforClassDchannels,Category5ehasadditionalrequirements,ascomparedtoCategory5,whichmakeitpreferredforuseinsystemsutilizingfourpairstransmittingsimultaneouslyinbothdirections.Thesecablesareintendedforvariousnewcommunicationsystemsthatareunderdevelopmentandwhichuseasmanyasfourpairssimultaneously.Inthissense,thissectionalspecificationprovidesthecablecharacteristicsrequiredbysystemdeveloperstoevaluatenewsystems.Thecablescoveredbythissectionalspecificationareintendedtooperatewithvoltagesandcurrentsnormallyencounteredincommunicationsystems.Thesecablesarenotintendedtobeusedinconjunctionwithlowimpedancesources,forexample,theelectricpowersuppliesofpublicutilitymains.Thoughtherecommendedtemperaturerangeduringinstallationis0℃+50℃,theactualtemperaturerangeduringinstallationshouldbeindicatedinthedetailspecification.
