【摘要】:1.1.1EquipmentcoveredbythisstandardThisstandardisapplicabletomains-poweredorbattery-poweredinformationtechnologyequipment,includingelectricalbusinessequipmentandassociatedequipment,withaRATEDVOLTAGEnotexceeding600V.Thisstandardisalsoapplicabletosuchinformationtechnologyequipment:?designedforuseastelecommunicationterminalequipmentandTELECOMMUNICATIONNETWORKinfrastructureequipment,regardlessofthesourceofpower;?designedandintendedtobeconnecteddirectlyto,orusedasinfrastructureequipmentin,aCABLEDISTRIBUTIONSYSTEM,regardlessofthesourceofpower;?designedtousetheACMAINSSUPPLYasacommunicationtransmissionmedium(seeClause6,Note4and7.1,Note4).Thisstandardisalsoapplicabletocomponentsandsubassembliesintendedforincorporationininformationtechnologyequipment.Itisnotexpectedthatsuchcomponentsandsubassembliescomplywitheveryaspectofthestandard,providedthatthecompleteinformationtechnologyequipment,incorporatingsuchcomponentsandsubassemblies,doescomply.Thisstandardspecifiesrequirementsintendedtoreducerisksoffire,electricshockorinjuryfortheOPERATORandlaymanwhomaycomeintocontactwiththeequipmentand,wherespecificallystated,foraSERVICEPERSON.Thisstandardisintendedtoreducesuchriskswithrespecttoinstalledequipment,whetheritconsistsofasystemofinterconnectedunitsorindependentunits,subjecttoinstalling,operatingandmaintainingtheequipmentinthemannerprescribedbythemanufacturer.Thislistisnotintendedtobecomprehensive,andequipmentthatisnotlistedisnotnecessarilyexcludedfromtheScope.Equipmentcomplyingwiththerelevantrequirementsinthisstandardisconsideredsuitableforusewithprocesscontrolequipment,automatictestequipmentandsimilarsystemsrequiringinformationprocessingfacilities.However,thisstandarddoesnotincluderequirementsforperformanceorfunctionalcharacteristicsofequipment.1.1.2AdditionalrequirementsRequirementsadditionaltothosespecifiedinthisstandardmaybenecessaryfor:?equipmentintendedforoperationinspecialenvironments(forexample,extremesoftemperature;excessivedust,moistureorvibration;flammablegases;andcorrosiveorexplosiveatmospheres);?electromedicalapplicationswithphysicalconnectionstothepatient;?equipmentintendedtobeusedinvehicles,onboardshipsoraircraft,intropicalcountries,orataltitudesgreaterthan2000m;?equipmentintendedforusewhereingressofwaterispossible;forguidanceonsuchrequirementsandonrelevanttesting,seeAnnexT.1.1.3ExclusionsThisstandarddoesnotapplyto:?powersupplysystemswhicharenotanintegralpartoftheequipment,suchasmotorgeneratorsets,batterybackupsystemsandtransformers;?buildinginstallationwiring;?devicesrequiringnoelectricpower.
