【摘要】:Theelectricalresistivityofanodeandcathodecarbonmaterialisimportantforefficientaluminumcelloperation.Itisaqualityparameterthatdeterminesthesuitabilityofananode/cathodeforoperationinanaluminumcell.Theelectricalresitivitymaybeselectedasarequirementinacustomerspecification.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheelectricalresistivityatroomtemperatureofsolidcylindricalspecimenscoredfromcommercialsizedcarbonanodesandcathodes.Thistestmethodalsoappliestosamplesfromcarbonblockspreparedinalaboratory.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationpriortouse.Forspecificsafetyinformation,see8.2.3.
