【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandard-providesasetofdatatypedefinitionsforrepresentingandexchangingbasicconceptsthatarecommonlyencounteredinhealthcareenvironmentsinsupportofinformationexchangeinthehealthcareenvironment;-specifiesacollectionofhealthcare-relateddatatypessuitableforuseinanumberofhealth-relatedinformationenvironments;-declaresthesemanticsofthesedatatypesusingtheterminology,notationsanddatatypesdefinedinISO/IEC11404,thusextendingthesetofdatatypesdefinedinthatstandard;-providesUMLdefinitionsofthesamedatatypesusingtheterminology,notationandtypesdefinedinUnifiedModellingLanguage(UML)version2.0;-specifiesanXML(ExtensibleMark-upLanguage)basedrepresentationofthedatatypes.TherequirementswhichunderpinthescopereflectamixofrequirementsgatheredprimarilyfromHL7Version3andISO/IEC11404,andalsofromCEN/TS14796,ISO13606(allparts)andpastISOworkonhealthcaredatatypes.ThisInternationalStandardcanofferapracticalandusefulcontributiontotheinternaldesignofhealthinformationsystems,butisprimarilyintendedtobeusedwhendefiningexternalinterfacesormessagestosupportcommunicationbetweenthem.
